Role Summary:
As a U.S. Election and Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of U.S. election trends, predicting policy directions, and understanding potential impacts both domestically and internationally. Your work will directly support our Japanese clients by offering clear, insightful, and actionable reports and presentations that demystify U.S. electoral processes and policy shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze U.S. political campaigns, election trends, and voting patterns to predict election outcomes and policy directions.
- Provide expert analysis on candidates' policy platforms, assessing potential impacts on domestic and international policies.
- Monitor and report on key political events, debates, and policy developments leading up to and following the U.S. presidential election.
- Develop comprehensive reports for Japanese clients, translating complex political and policy information into understandable insights.
- Offer strategic advice on how U.S. election outcomes and policy trends may affect Japan-U.S. relations and business strategies.
- Engage with a wide range of sources, including political analysis, academic research, and media coverage, to support analysis and predictions.
Requirements:
- Proven expertise in U.S. politics, electoral systems, and policy analysis, with a focus on presidential elections.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex political information and predict trends.
- Ability to produce clear, concise, and insightful written reports.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role, especially with a focus on U.S. politics, is highly desirable.
