Job Title: Research Finance ManagerFLSA Status: ExemptDepartment: Research Effective Date: Reports To: QCCA Director of Research

Summary: The Research Finance Manager is responsible for analytical and financial activities of the Research Network, which includes research billing, payment reconciliation, tracking performance and account receivables

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to verify that all required documentation is in place to bill studies
• Ability to understand payment requirements and billing benchmarks for all open studies
• Invoice Sponsors for all research activity, including pass through Costs and study visits, per the clinical trial contracts
• Ability to track all billed invoices and follow up with study sponsors in an organized fashion
• Ability to track and post receivables to appropriate patient accounts
• Prepare required reports including A/R aging and month end reconciliations
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely fashion
• Answer A/R inquires and follow-up
• Provide reconciliation for payments to practices in a timely fashion
• All other duties as assigned

Data Analysis

• Analyze financial data and benchmark data to previous quarters and other research facilities
• Provide financial projections to Director of Research and research leadership team

Education and Experience

• Accounting degree and experience, preferably in clinical research setting
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Experience with CTMS (Clinical Trial Management Systems)

Physical Requirements

• Able to work at a desktop computer for extended periods of time
• Ability to distinguish and transcribe letters and numbers without transposition
• Full body range of motion including handling and lifting up to 20 pounds
