Key Responsibilities
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Oversee and review the monthly forecast update with variance explanations to current plan at a consolidated and department level
- Compile and analyze financial data in a concise format for members of senior leadership
- Lead the formation, consolidation and reporting of the annual budget and 3-year strategic plan
- Develop/review financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives
- Act as a key business partner, interfacing regularly with Senior Leaders, Program Manager, members of Finance and Human Resource
- As needed, support/lead various projects
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred: Accounting/Finance) and a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience with 2 years of leading Financial Planning and Analysis teams
- Demonstrated ability to identify and execute continuous process improvement opportunities; excellent problem-solving skills
- Experience organizing and compiling information and insights from large quantities of data
- Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint skills.
- Analytical and able to develop models to identify key assumptions, root cause and variance analyses
- Collaborative and able to work across departments and throughout various levels of the organization.
- Understand/promote key drivers while delivering appropriate accuracy in supporting detail
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated
- Ability to work under tight deadlines; thrives in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to manage processes and direct reports as well as others who do not report directly to you
