Scopely is looking for a Research Coordinator to join our Research and Insights team in Culver City on a hybrid basis.

What You Will Do
As a Research Coordinator you will support research activities around video game development. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and participate in the game-making process and be an integral part of developing new games for launch.

• Recruiting, scheduling, and fulfilling incentives of participants for playtesting and interviewing
• Coordinate the logistics of the participants for the in-person and remote playtests/interview environment
• Collaborate with researcher staff to understand study objectives, clarify the specifications for profiles needed for testing, and update the team on the status of projects
• Organize data from surveys, interviews, and playtests
• Other research-related functions

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in a coordination position or any other equivalent experience
• Excellent video game knowledge - must be a gamer!
• Excellent skills in coordination and project management
• Excellent skills in creating both written and oral communications
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborative personality that is customer and service-focused.
• Must demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and a keen eye for detail.
• Knowledge of video game equipment (streaming software, consoles, etc...)
• Full awareness of game distribution platforms (Steam, Epic Games Store, etc.)
• Excellent G Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides) and/or MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) are necessary.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (including Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Game Design, Social Science, Psychology, Anthropology, or Marketing)
• Must be located in the Los Angeles area

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY and WA, the annual salary range is $66,000 - $79,000, plus equity, bonus and benefits including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time-off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
