Clinical Research Coordinator Compensation Range - $20.00- $23.00The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) I is responsible for coordinating and administering Clinical Trials under the direction of the Clin-Ops Director, the Principal Investigator, and the Chief Medical Officer. The CRC will develop, implement and coordinate research and administrative procedures to successfully manage clinical trials. RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead active studies (1-3 max) and participate in general items for phase 3 trials- Acts as a backup to other CRCI and CRCII - Adhere to Research SOPs- Adhere to Good Clinical Practices and the study protocols- Ensure the scientific integrity of data and protect the rights, safety, and well-being of patients enrolled in clinical trials- Discuss study protocols with patients and verify the informed consent documentation- Provide patients with written communication of their participation (i.e.
copy of the signed informed)- Meet with the patient for each visit and maintain accessibility to discuss any questions/concerns regarding the study- Perform ECGs and obtain patient vital signs- Performs Fibro scan if applicable - Performs blood draws, if applicable- Process specimens, if applicable - Administer questionnaires/diaries per protocol- Retrieve temperature logs - Ensure the filing and maintenance of all regulatory documents- Schedule monitor visits and set up monitoring visits before monitors.- Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: - This job has no supervisory responsibilities. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Phlebotomist Certification - Understanding of medical terminology as well as standard clinical procedures and protocols.- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.- Professionalism and desire to learn.- Skilled with standard computer programs including Microsoft Office 365.- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.- Some road travel to support other sites- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.- Communicating with others to exchange information.- The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 5 pounds.
