Research Associate I
Chahoud Lab: Focused on penile and renal cell cancers translational and clinical research.
Position Highlights:
- The Research Associate I assumes the responsibility of performing basic, biological, behavioral, social science or public health research within the specified research program.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and communicate clearly, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to conduct data extraction and analysis.
- Ability to write scientific protocols, summaries, and manuscripts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general laboratory techniques and data analysis.
- Responsible for preparing manuscripts and presentation of data at local and national meetings. This is done in conjunction with the research staff, research scientists and PI.
- Responsible for performing a variety of standard laboratory experiments as well as assisting in the development and testing of new laboratory procedures under appropriate supervision.
- Responsible for drafting letters of intents, protocols, and proposals under appropriate supervision with the research staff and PI.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Field of study: A biological, basic, behavioral, social science or public health research.
- Hands-on research experience is required

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift, M-F, 8am-5pm
