Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting experiments and reporting results to federal funding agencies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in molecular biology or biochemistry and is well versed in common laboratory techniques.
Duties:
- Perform common laboratory experiments and follow detailed protocols including gel electrophoresis, protein purification, western blot, ELISA, and kinetic assays
- Perform experiments using human patient samples
- Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data
- Prepare research reports for funding agencies
- Maintain accurate records of experiments and results
- Ensure compliance with CGMP guidelines and laboratory safety protocols
Requirements:
- PhD (preferred)/master’s degree (+ 5 yr experience) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of molecular biology techniques and laboratory procedures
- Proficiency performing western blot, ELISA, and plate-based assays
- Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical methods
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

We offer competitive compensation for this fully funded research position based on relevant experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position requiring the candidate to work in-person at the bench.
