Research Assistant/Embryologist

Job Summary:
Cleveland Clinic Fertility Center , OH USA has an immediate opening for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our laboratory team of embryologists. The Research Assistant will be responsible for assisting with laboratory procedures, data analysis, and conducting research experiments. Research projects involve embryo and ovarian tissue culture and cryopreservation. This is a junior level position working closely with the lab director. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about scientific research. Unique opportunity leading to working in the clinical Fertility laboratories. Looking for an enthusiastic , motivated individual who is a team player , to join our laboratory group of eight technicians. Candidate would be sharing holiday and weekend calls in the clinical fertility laboratory. Excellent references and a three year commitment will be required. Applicant must also be eligible to work in the U.S..

Experience:

· Bachelor or Masters degree in a related field (Biology, Chemistry, or a similar discipline)

· Must have 1-2 years of previous experience working in a research laboratory

· Knowledge of research methodologies and scientific principles

· Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as cell culture, molecular techniques

· Ability to work under microscope and have excellent eye-hand coordination

· Familiarity with clinical laboratory practices and protocols is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
