Rental Specialist

Knot Mine Rental Specialist Job Description:

This position involves greeting customers and checking them in for their jet ski rentals including verifying waivers match license, waivers have all been signed, boat safety videos have been watched and other duties consistent with a rental business.

· Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Must be able to operate and park a jet ski.

· Knowledge of Lake Allatoona preferred, but not required.

· Must be able to swim.

· Proficient with smartphones/tablets and social media experience a plus.

· Become familiar with watercraft safety orientation and present this information to customers frequently on a daily basis.

· CPR certification required; however, if you are not certified, don’t worry, we will get you certified as part of our program.

· We will provide training for all employees. All newly hired employees enter a 4-week probationary period at the beginning of their employment. We value integrity, loyalty, hard work, commitment, and teamwork. Each individual on our team is an ambassador that represents the company. We always expect professionalism.

· Clean and maintain watercraft daily.

· Fuel watercraft after each rental return.

· Conduct financial transactions for retail line.

· Customer and employee safety is our top priority. We reserve the right to randomly drug test any employee at any time.

· Some sales experience is preferred, but not required.

· Work through CRM based platform to follow up and secure future business.

· Hourly pay starts at $15/hour, plus tips.

· Flexibility to travel to different marinas as needed.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands or fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
