The Bio-Gas Upgrading Plant Manager monitors and coordinates the effective and efficient utilization of employees through proactive, high participation work team involvement. The position directs all day-to-day activities of the plant, consistent with company policies and procedures. This position manages the production, quality, and safety of the facility to meet the Company’s goals and objectives in a safe and effective manner.
Monitor and coordinate personnel activities and equipment as well as direct daily operations consistent with company policies and procedures. Report on key process metrics, workforce wellness, production, and opportunities to the President.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates the facility in compliance with all governmental regulations and company policies
- Works to achieve "Zero Accidents" by taking a strong leadership role in safety
- Provide operational and employee leadership to the facility, striving for excellence in all aspects of performance.
- Manage financial performance and make required changes as needed to achieve business commitments.
- Manage all aspects of the plant cost structure including direct and indirect labor, maintenance and consumable spending to preserve profitability.
- Support development and reporting of budgeting, performance statistics, cost analysis, justification of capital expenditures and asset management as required
- Lead the facility in establishing and meeting continuous improvement objectives.
- Partner with company leadership to develop and maintain a positive culture consistent with company values, behaviors, and mission.
- Encourage and support the development of all plant employees.
- Participate in process improvement and cost savings efforts.
- Responsible for incorporating continuous quality improvement principles into daily quality culture.
- Assures compliance with state and federal regulatory matters including OSHA, EPA, EEO and Affirmative Action, Quality Audits.
- Coordinates the effective utilization of production capacity, staffing and equipment through planning, organizing, and scheduling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
