- This role is responsible for complex and multifunctional areas of accounting, maintaining proper accounting and financial control through reconciliations and analytical analysis related to assigned functional areas.
- Actively participate and ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting for Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP), tax and other regulatory reporting.
- Conduct independent accounting-based research and complex analytical projects.
- Supports internal and external audits
- Develop and maintain working relationships with operational departments and external vendors.
- May supervise accounting staff.
- Supports the budget process.
- Participates in and implements monthly financial close, prepare and supervises the assignments of the staff accountants to include general ledger, construction-in-process (CIP), fixed assets and leases.
- Prepares journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly management financial reporting package, regulatory reporting and/or executive summary schedules.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE
- BA in Accounting or Finance (firm requirement)
- Minimum 5-7 years of direct relevant experience at senior analyst level
- Strong in tableau and power BI
- Relational and multidimensional databases
- Experience writing business cases
- Must work PST
