OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly quantitative thinker with a passion for financial analysis and complex financial models. The role sits in our corporate Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team and specializes in our proceeds and pricing models, in addition to providing corporate finance support. The person in this role will work closely with our colleagues on other teams, such as project finance, pricing, and treasury. Ultimately, this position can lead to a more senior position within SF&A or across Sunrun.

Location: Our team members are located throughout the western US, particularly near our offices in San Francisco, CA, Lehi, UT, and Denver, CO. Exceptional east-coast candidates will be considered. Periodic travel for meetings is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Develop deep understanding of the financial details of our solar financing portfolios, incorporating those details into Anaplan models and Google sheets

+ Develop deep understanding of our pricing strategies, incorporating into Anaplan

+ Fluidly model and explain the impacts of financing and pricing changes on the net present value of a customer

+ Build and maintain financial models in our Anaplan tool

+ Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support corporate decision-making

+ Provide robust reporting to support our monthly actuals analysis and forecasting, our quarterly earnings release, and annual budgeting processes

+ Support the creation of executive presentations for regular reporting

+ Support other SF&A business areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

+ Bachelor's degree with top grades in a quantitative discipline

+ Rigorous coursework in finance and accounting

+ 2-7 years experience in finance &/or accounting, preferably in a combination of internal roles in large companies and external financial advisory roles (Big4, I-banking)

+ Deep knowledge in finance and accounting for large organizations with complicated financial structures

+ Highly analytical brain, as evidenced by education, past roles, & achievements

+ Passion for financial analysis and financial modeling

+ High attention to detail

+ Aptitude for programming that is translatable to Anaplan

+ Excellent written & verbal communication skills

+ Collaborative team player

+ Comfort with fast-paced, demanding environment

+ Impeccable judgment & ethics

PREFERRED

+ Work experience in Finance (FP&A, investment banking, consulting, Big Four)

+ Work experience in a large company

+ Experience in solar finance

+ Experience in Anaplan or similar planning tool

+ Experience in Tableau, Oracle, SalesForce

+ Programming experience

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:

$92,183.18 to $122,910.90

Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
