Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Remote Paralegal to join our estate planning and probate law firm on a case-by-case contract basis. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in drafting estate planning documents, including wills and trusts. Proficiency in preparing probate petitions within the legal framework of the state of Georgia is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and review estate planning documents, such as wills and trusts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
- Prepare probate petitions in accordance with Georgia state regulations.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and procedures.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other team members to support case management.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide assistance in legal matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning.
- Proficient in drafting various estate planning documents.
- Experience in preparing probate petitions within the state of Georgia.
- Strong research and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction.
- Ability to work independently and remotely on a case-by-case contract basis.
