Pay Range: $130,000 -$160,000
The KYC Analyst supports all KYC activities for Apple Bank’s Export Commercial Bank. This position ensures that all new client onboarding documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with the Bank's overall BSA/AML program. The Analyst is responsible for the maintenance of all KYC activities related to the booking of new loans and the opening of new accounts, performs periodic reviews, and ensures that all regulatory deadlines and obligations are met.

• Manage regulatory and internal audit examination preparation by providing all reporting including complete client profiles, account openings/closings, risk rating changes, name changes and other information as required.
• Develop solutions based upon subject matter expertise and will help drive outcomes that will have a material effect on the department’s success.
• Represent the department at a broader level when necessary and will participate in tactical planning.
• Assign risk ratings for all clients through internal rating model.
• Create initial KYC profile based on customer onboarding documentation obtained from the client or our Loan Administration Team.
• Maintain detailed records on clients for second level review; ensure completed KYC profiles portray an accurate and detailed description of Bank customer.
• Complete initial customer risk rating process consistent with the Bank’s established processes.
• Verify that initial risk rating is consistent with the actual risk of specific Bank customers.
• Ensure all onboarding documentation has been collected and stored according to Bank policy.
• Complete KYC reviews in a timely manner and in accordance with a risk-based schedule.
• Recommend improvements to processes in areas of efficiency, control, and work product.
• Respond to findings and guidance from Anti-Financial Crimes department.
• Maintain department KYC database.
• Perform ad-hoc and project support responsibilities as required.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or a professional certification is required; CAMS certification preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in Banking, Legal or related work experience.
• Fully versed in BSA/AML, OFAC, FinCEN compliance requirements, including USA Patriot Act and money laundering legislation.
• Must possess a deep understanding of the front to end customer due diligence process.
• Demonstrate deep knowledge of US regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal & communications skills (verbal + written).
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and assigned requests.
