The Opportunity:
As a Loan Processor with Visio, you will collect, analyze, and verify borrower financial data to process through loan funding.
You will provide support to the Processing departments by:
- Processing loans from time of receipt into processing through funding
- Collaborating and coordinating with Account Executives/Loan Originators
- Gathering, organizing, and tracking loan documentation
- Working with borrowers, brokers, underwriters, quality control, appraiser, title, insurance, and other applicable parts to complete processing files
- Assuring files follow underwriting guidelines and capital partner compliance
- Verifying purchase contract documentation and resolving issues including vesting issues and other document discrepancies
- Coordinating with closing departments to ensure a timely and effective closing process
- Providing exceptional customer service at all stages of the process
- Exhibiting strong initiative and attention to detail and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
- Demonstrate the ability to recognize when an account deviates from the norm and provide corrective action
- Completing other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
- Available Remote Locations: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IA, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
- Salary Range: $21.00 - $22.50/hr (Non-Exempt/Hourly/Overtime Eligible)
What We Are Looking For:
- Someone with a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Someone with 1 year of mortgage processing experience
- Someone proficient in the use of Calyx Point, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
- Someone with tactfulness and a proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information/situations
- Someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Someone with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Someone with the ability to handle an extensive pipeline and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment; printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, and other applicable equipment as needed
- For Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department prior to extending a job offer.
