Job Description
We are seeking experienced English-Spanish interpreters to provide clear and accurate interpretations for a wide range of customers across various industries. This remote, flexible position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects as an independent contractor.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Interpretation: Provide accurate interpretations using active listening skills, ensuring the message is conveyed without any additions or omissions.
- Document Interactions: Update activity logs in the CRM using provided templates and available tools (e.g., Training Guides, Notes, Google, Supervisor support, Spell Check).
- Escalations: Resolve and notify escalations with urgency, in collaboration with support members.
- Customer Service: Follow provided scripts and templates while adhering to company service standards and code of ethics.
- Motivation: Maintain a positive attitude towards company initiatives.
- Notification: Promptly report system issues and seek resolution within the scope of the position.
- Communication: Interact professionally with clients and staff members, following company policies.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Willing to undergo a background check.
- Proficient accent-neutral, near-native English.
- High school diploma or higher.
- 1-2 years of experience in interpretation.
- Demonstrated commitment to previous roles.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Prior formal interpretation experience required, with a strong preference for candidates with extensive experience.
- Knowledge and use of PC systems, CRM, and Google Search.

- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy with a typing speed of at least 20 WPM.
- Competency in a service organization environment.
- Self-motivated and eager to improve.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to focus in a fast-paced environment while handling calls in a courteous, friendly, and well-spoken tone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with effective oral and written communication.
