SalaryWe are seeking professional qualified and certified bilingual and multilingual freelance interpreters with experience in medical field to provide on-site interpreting services. Freelance interpreters operate as 1099 independent contractors accepting appointments based on their availability. As a freelance interpreter, you are responsible for conveying spoken messages accurately from one language to another. The Interpreter will also adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards throughout their interactions.
Qualifications
- Be Fluent in English and target language with understanding of idiomatic speech and cultural patterns. Interpret conversations accurately and impartially, always maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous experience required in the medical, legal, or educational field.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken, in both languages.
- Professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
- Prior experience in interpretation is preferred, but not required.
- A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education is preferred.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
