What does a General Manager, Banking as a Service do at Green Dot?
You will be responsible for the overall success of the Banking as a Service (BaaS) product line, from strategy development and execution to marketing, sales, and customer support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to ensure the product line meets its objectives and achieves its full potential.
As a General Manager, Banking as a Service you can look forward to:
- Developing and executing a strategic plan for the BaaS product line that aligns with the overall company strategy, and includes product vision, setting goals, partner management and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Managing a team of relationship managers and operational support resources to deliver high-quality solutions for our partners.
- Managing the development and maintenance of strategic plans for all partner relationships.
- Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, product, engineering and customer support.
- Tracking and analyzing product performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing and managing the product roadmap, prioritizing features and ensuring that the product line meets customer needs.
- Managing the division P&L and ensuring that the business delivers the anticipated results.
- Tracking and analyzing product line performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Working closely with marketing and sales teams to promote and sell the product line.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Representing the product line to senior management and external stakeholders.

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, product management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in management, with 5+ years of experience in a general management role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and launching new products.
- Strong understanding of product strategy, marketing, and sales.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

The targeted base salary for this position is $259,600 to $396,600 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.<<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>>
