PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
This position requires the handling and loading of diagnostic imaging devices and parts, their distribution and delivery to clients via public access roads and highways. Attentive and safe driving skills are mandatory in addition to a Class A CDL license. This position will spend roughly 40% of their time working in our warehouse on various tasks and 60% OTR driving.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate, coordinate, and transport deliveries of diagnostic imaging devices and parts with logistics specialist and/or Field Service Engineers for scheduled equipment installs or de-installs.
- Responsible for truck(s) inspections, maintenance and upkeep maintaining proper documentation within company vehicles such as registration, logbooks, shipment list, etc.
- Expect unscheduled and random requests for parts delivery.
- Organize, stage, load or pick-up systems and goods based on a structured schedule and/or route to ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere to Quality Management Procedures (QMP) and Work Instructions (WI) as set by the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Strip diagnostic imaging equipment to determine quality of parts, whether in good standing or not in good standing.
- Routinely ensure client satisfaction, prompt and courteous service and support always. Communicate delivery issues to manager in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as determined by management.

- Work is performed at hospitals, clinics, and physician offices.
- Employee must be able to work in confined areas.
- Drive to and from facilities in all-weather situations.
- Travel may be extensive.
- Schedule may be unpredictable.
OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE:
- Work environment may involve exposure to potentially dangerous materials and situations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
- Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and loud noises.
- Performance of job duties has a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens or other infectious materials that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the use of protective equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of previous driving experience preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of standard and metric tools.
- Condition of employment; completion and favorable results of Background Investigation and Drug Screen.
- Must complete safety, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, sexual harassment, MSDS, defense driving, incident reporting, radiation safety, ISO, forklift, and OEM related training.
- Continuous training and knowledge seeking of company products and services.
