The Relocation Specialist is responsible for the operational success of Chevron’s relocation activities by managing the day-to-day services of the relocation service providers and serving as a relocation subject resource for employees, managers, and HR teams.
Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Partner with suppliers and vendors to ensure a high level of service with a key focus on employee experience and efficient mobility programs.
Engage with vendors on a regular basis to monitor tasks and case progression.
Resolve common relocation issues, escalations, and exception requests. Responsible for engaging with vendors to discuss and resolve operational questions in a timely manner. Document outcomes and monitor customer satisfaction.
Provide consultation on relocation procedural questions to employees, managers, and HR teams.
Consult and advise on application of Chevron's domestic relocation policies and procedures to Business HR, clients, Global Mobility Specialists, and vendor.
Monitor supplier processes and practices to ensure efficiencies and alignment with Chevron policies and workflows.
Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
May be part of large-scope projects and deployments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related discipline.
5+ years’ experience in USA domestic relocation.
Knowledge of mobility lifecycle processes and methodologies.
Experience managing external vendor relationships; understanding of elements of relocation policies, and supplier management.
Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to demonstrate effective management, organizational, and leadership skills in a dynamic business environment.
Ability to work effectively with data, analyze and present insights, and develop and deliver presentations.
