Global Network Services (GNS) is the division of Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) within American Express responsible for exponentially growing the cards and payments business of American Express through partnerships with premier banks, financial institutions, fintech, and co-brand partners worldwide.
Prepaid is part of the Global Network Services (GNS) North America team and delivers best-in-class reloadable and gift prepaid products to customers. The Prepaid Reporting & Regulatory Exam Management team manages regulatory exams/audits and requests, agent oversight, regulatory and management reporting, ad hoc analysis, and strategic initiatives that support the success of the Prepaid business.
How will you make an impact in this role?
In this role, the individual will be the primary point of contact for internal and external regulatory compliance reviews and exams. As such, the individual will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to manage responses to information requests and to address any recommendations or findings coming out of the reviews. In addition, this individual will oversee key Prepaid programs, including agent oversight and seller onboarding, with the potential for leading a senior analyst which manages these programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and submitting accurate, timely, and complete responses for all requests assigned to the Prepaid business during internal and external regulatory compliance reviews or exams
- Exam management support, to include tracking business responses, preparing presentations to support exam meetings, preparing formal responses to findings, and developing remediation plans
- Overseeing agent oversight programs, including onsite audits, agent anti-money laundering program, agent risk assessments, and seller communications
- Identifying and driving process improvements or initiatives which mitigate regulatory risk
- Various functions supporting ongoing regulatory requirements and related business needs
- Leading a senior analyst who manages the agent oversight programs
Minimum Qualifications
- Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to meet critical deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with ability to influence at various levels of organization
- Proven ability to work autonomously and adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, and rapid change
- Highly organized, detail-oriented self-starter
- Able to lead projects independently
- Ability to assess sensitive situations and respond appropriately to influence the outcome
- Strong relationship building experience across different levels and business units
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- BS/BA degree in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of prepaid products a plus
- Experience with compliance or regulatory exams

Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
