Key Responsibilities:
Data Accuracy Maestro: Ensure precise data entry and uphold University records policies. Be a champion of FERPA regulations knowledge, guiding staff and faculty.
Registration Guru: Process various registration documents with finesse - advising forms, special permissions, additions/drops, and withdrawals. Become the troubleshooter extraordinaire for registration-related inquiries, guiding stakeholders through UAOnline, Banner, and the Registrar website.
Subject Matter Expert: Assume the role of the registration expert for various university departments and campuses. Your comprehensive knowledge will make you an indispensable resource for all things registration-related.
Mentor Extraordinaire: Supervise a dynamic team, including a Communication Coordinator and student employees. Emphasize mentorship, guiding student employees in their professional development, and fostering a collaborative environment.
Data Detective: Specializes in data error management, uncovering anomalies and inaccuracies within student records. Your sleuthing skills will ensure records' accuracy and resolve duplicate Banner IDs.
Student Success Sentinel: Be the guardian of student records, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Your meticulous oversight will guarantee the accuracy, security, and appropriate archiving of UAF student records.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and three years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 3-5 years of customer services experience providing interpretations on policy and procedures
Preferred three years of customer services, preferably in a higher education setting and supervisory experience.
Position Details:
This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus at University of Alaska Fairbanks in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA staff salary schedule, Grade 78, based on education and experience.
