Assistant Operations Manager

Assistant Operations Manger for snow & ice management company. Responsibilities include overseeing and assisting with day to day operations to ensure policy's and procedures are properly followed. Position will assist with monitoring employee efficiency, training, equipment procedures, and customer service. Help to resolve or escalate customer concerns and complaints providing follow-up as needed. Assist with meeting hiring goals by vetting, interviewing and hiring for open positions.

Duties

- Assist the General/Operations Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Must have experience in managing snow and ice operations--MAKE SURE IT IS IN YOUR RESUME
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline processes
- Ensure company policy's are followed and suggest improvements as needed providing
- Assist in managing inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery of materials

Requirements

- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role in snow/ice operations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
