**This position will work labor/Delivery and Mom/Baby with the potential to cross-train as an OB Technician.**

Minimum Requirements:
- 2 Year / Associate Degree Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferred
- 1 - 3 Years Preferred
- Assessment (Minimum proficiency)
- Critical Thinking/Reasoning (Minimum proficiency)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with the Kansas Nurse Licensure Compact Minimum Upon Hire
- Healthcare Provider CPR – (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) Minimum 7 Days
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Minimum 180 Days
- ACLS Minimum 180 Days
Key Responsibilities:
- Uses the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/plan, implementation, evaluation) to plan and provide individualized patient care
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, peers and other healthcare colleagues
- Identify process issues that create barriers to effective patient care and provide feedback to potential resolution ideas
- Be a team player who is also able to autonomously complete their expected duties
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills, bed side manner and the ability to communicate and build relationships with the patient, patient’s family members and other colleagues
