JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical Orthopedic Spine
RN - MED/SURG ORTHO SPINE
Full-Time
Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical / Surgical Orthopedic Spine Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- As a REGISTERED NURSE you will deliver patient-centered nursing care and participate in patient and family education.
- Along with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, providers, and patient care support staff, you will create and implement a care plan to meet each patient's needs.
- Utilizing computerized documentation systems, you will monitor, record and communicate patient conditions as appropriate.
- As a part of the clinical team, you will coordinate patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- When dealing with patients, visitors, co-workers and other customers, you will maintain cultural and diversity awareness, and much more.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse candidates for the Medical / Surgical Orthopedic Spine Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
License/Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License in Florida or Current Multistate Compact License.
- Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
Experience:
- 1 year of medical surgical experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Additional Information:
- 1 year of LTAC/ surgery center/or clinic exp (assessment and IV skills are what they are looking for)
- Ortho exp is a plus
- 60% ortho 40% M/S general overflow
- 1:5 ratio
- 47 beds
- Days and Nights shifts open (7-7) no call/ rotating weekends
- Night shift diff 4.25
- Weekend diff $3
- Offering a $10k sign on bonus
