• Hourly Rate- $28.99 - $39.40
• Nights $4.25
• Weekend $3.00

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.60% ortho 40% M/S general overflow.
• 1:5 ratio and 47 beds.
• Days and Nights shifts open (7-7) no call/ rotating weekends.

Requirements

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida , Multistate or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment preferred.
• BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• 1 year of LTAC/ surgery center/or clinic exp (assessment and IV skills are what they are looking for).
• Ortho experience is a plus.
• Compatibility between personality and culture holds significant importance.
