Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal associate with have some consumer bankruptcy experience or willingness to learn and practice in the area of bankruptcy law.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research using various tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
• Assist in case preparation for litigation
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
• Provide legal administrative support to senior attorneys
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
• Attend court hearings and depositions as needed

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar association
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Proficiency in legal research and drafting
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Prior experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred
