Registered Nurse

Mecca Care LLC located in Chesapeake Virginia. We are a premiere home care agency who service clients in several counties in Virginia and we are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Team. We would prefer someone who is familiar with the home care process in Virginia, LTSS, CCC+ Waiver, UAI, Intakes and authorizations, but it is not necessary as long as you are licensed in VA, you will be trained to be successful in your position as a D. O. N.

• Be responsible for the assessment, treatment or care of child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
• Screens, communicates and responds to patient needs appropriately
• Responds to clients telephone call using approved protocols
• Ensure patient privacy and comfort during the home visists and assessments
• Be accountable for direct and indirect quality care for patients of all ages, according to the individualized needs of the patient
• Educate patient and family about diagnostic procedures, medications, chronic disease management and treatment instructions when applicable
• Act as a content expert and clinical resource by providing staff and patient education
• Accurately document all pertinent information regarding the patient in EMR
