Devereux Day Academy is a NEW private academic school program located in Audubon PA. Devereux Day Academy is licensed to serve students in grades K-8 who have been identified with the following primary disabilities: Intellectual Disability, Autism, Emotional Disturbance, Specific Learning Disability, and Speech or Language Impairment. The core curriculum has been aligned with the Pennsylvania Core Standards, as well as the curricula of our partner school districts. This alignment will facilitate smooth transitions to and from the program for your students. The goal of the curriculum is to provide students with learning experiences that foster increased engagement and success through differentiated instruction, evidence-based instructional strategies, and rigorous learning expectations.
Pay rate: $17.91 - $20.42/hr (based upon experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Every day as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) you will:
- Provide interventions to individuals in a school setting
- Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Transfer skills to individuals' natural support in the least restrictive environment

Devereux Pennsylvania Children's Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), residential treatment (RTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Requires a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents preferred. Dependent upon educational background (see above). Requires strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and computer skills. Must be adaptable to changing workload, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and available to work a flexible work schedule. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications (especially Excel), experience with data collection/analyzing platforms as well as internal and external software applications pertinent to the position).
Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
Must be at least 21 years of age.
