Job Description
One of our clients is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide service in Philadelphia, PA area.
SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Implement Applied Behavior Analysis
* Provide 1:1 intervention in facility setting with children and adolescents with severe emotional challenges
* Provide behavioral intervention and crisis management for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses
* Collaborate with treatment team to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a child's treatment plan
* Monitor child's behaviors by documenting and redirecting challenging behaviors
CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Applicants must meet one of the below requirements for consideration
* Minimum of two (2) years work experience in the provision of behavioral health services
*High school Diploma
* Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field including Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or other social services related field.
* Bachelor's Degree in an unrelated field with one (1) year of full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
* Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavioral Analyst (BCaBA)
* Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
* Certification as a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT)
* Previous verifiable work experience as a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) in PA
CLIENT'S REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
* Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal
* Ability to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, and Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test
* CPR and First Aid certification
* Covid Vaccine Card
