Job Description
Regional Sales Manager / State of Florida MUST live in the state and be willing to travel as needed within the state (prefer someone in the Tampa or Orland area, but willing to be flexible)
Company is a global provider of high tech laser equipment.
Will work remotely and travel as needed within the territory. Approx 25% travel overnight.
Reports to the VP of Sales
Overall Responsibility: This position is responsible for all sales activities from leads to close and implementing selling strategies within the assigned territory to achieve and/or exceed established sales goals.( Corporate office does have a lead generation team).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing and field activity.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Plan, organize, and prioritize sales strategies to achieve established sales goals.
Process leads in company’s contact management system (CRM).
Manage all aspects of the sales process from initial contact to close.
Provide product demonstrations in house and on-site as required.
Prepare quotations, complete sales order sheets, complete sales reports.
Install equipment and train users after sale. Work with the post sales team on this
Become an expert on equipment operation.
Identify and resolve client concerns.
Attend assigned trade shows.
Requirements and Qualifications:
4 to 7 years direct sales experience. B2B is a MUST Prefer a hard good/industrial type product
Must be highly flexible and adaptable to change. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with both external and internal customers is essential.
Some overnight travel required.
Position requires the ability to drive and stand for extended periods as well as lift and carry equipment.
Exhibit proficient use of technology communication tools.
Proficient in Microsoft office.
Well organized self-starter.
Coachable and strong technically
A Team Player who can communicate with all levels of the organization.
Must be located within selling territory.
Base: 60K, plus 6 month non-recoverable draw, + commission. Expected first year salary 100-115K
