The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Mirion Medical Group has the primary objective to support the distributor network, increase annual sales, ensure key customer inquiries are managed, and serve as the dosimetry services subject matter expert for an assigned region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Develop and implement strategies for annual sales increase of dosimetry and nuclear medicine services in the assigned region.
- Manage and support distributors and their annual sales activities. In this capacity the RSM is responsible for reviewing distributor sales strategies and forecasting on a regular basis. Provide guidance and strategy modification as required.
- Maintain records of current and potential customers of dosimetry and nuclear medicine services in the assigned region to include general market information (e.g. number of hospitals in the region), competitor activity, and other strategic sales information.
- Maintain customer information, sales activities, distributor information and sales pipeline data in the Mirion Medical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software.
- Identify the opportunity to onboard new distributors in the assigned region or in other parts of the country where the needs exist.
- Support the Mirion Medical strategic dosimetry and nuclear medicine sales initiatives to ensure successful attainment of immediate and long-term strategic business goals.
- Lead the sales initiatives to large (Enterprise) accounts in the assigned region ensuring pre- and post-sale call activities are completed by all supporting elements of the Mirion Medical team.
- Provide input to the Mirion Medical National Sales Director for Sales and Operations (SOP) planning and forecast meetings to ensure organizational alignment and execution of identified forecasts.
- Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates. Comply with all company policies and protocols.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, radiation technology, nuclear medicine technology, or a science related field discipline.
- 5+ years of direct sales or distributor management sales experience in the medical field
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Can effectively interact with all levels of internal and customer organizations.
- Strategic thinker, strong analytical skills, able to synthesize customer data.
- Demonstrated ability for working independently and working from remote office settings.
- Ability to manage multiple sales activities with limited direction.
- Experience working as a team member and informing forecasting activities.
- Travel required 75% or less
- Preferred
- Proven ability to sell to a diversified base of clients in the medical and radiation industry.
- Proficiency in PC software applications (MS Office, Sales Force, HubSpot, TEAMS, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of basic radiation worker protection standards.
