Position Summary: The DCCC is hiring Regional Organizing Directors (RODs) for the 2024 election cycle. The RODs report directly to the Deputy National Organizing Director, and are primarily responsible for the management and oversight of all organizing operations for a designated region of the country. RODs will work within their regional pod and department to advocate for field investments, and implement voter contact and GOTV programs in targeted races. They will work directly with district Organizing Directors to ensure that the operations are meeting programmatic priorities and that the campaign is on track to win.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Hire, coach, and manage DCCC District Organizing Directors.
  • Develop strategies and systems that lead District Organizing Directors to successfully meet weekly and phase organizing metrics, as well as maintain data integrity.
  • Analyze reports to assess the success of organizing programs across the country and identify areas for improvement; provide training and coaching to District Organizing Directors to maximize program effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain communication systems and structures with other departments, working within a regional pod. Ensure that organizing staff have the resources necessary to be successful, and that organizing programs in our targeted districts are aligned with other campaign priorities.
  • Work with Organizing Leadership to develop, implement, and execute the organizing program in an assigned region of the country.
  • Travel to Congressional Districts in an assigned region to provide in-person training and coaching.
  • Foster an inclusive team culture.
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements
  • 2+ cycles of organizing experience, including 1 cycle of staff management experience, strongly preferred.
  • Prior management experience required.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and VAN.
