Regional Manager - Property Management Transition Coordinator
Vida Management is a leading provider of Property Management services, dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences for our residents. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Regional Manager to join our team to lead the Property Management Transitions. The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing the seamless transition of new properties into our management portfolio and ensuring a smooth handover process.
The Regional Manager role will be to lead the onboarding process from the initial commitment of a new community to our portfolio until the operations team fully transitions onsite. It is important that this Manager is familiar with Property Management software and tools (ie Yardi, Real Page, etc.) and has a strong knowledge of software implementation and integration. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for all parties involved in the transition, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding the standards of the Property Management company.
Responsibilities:
1. Operational Integration and Onboarding:
- Work through the transition list of items and transfer all necessary software & platforms and engage new property software where necessary.
- Integrate new properties into existing software and platforms (ie Yardi, Real Page, etc.).
- Ensure and coordinate seamless transfer of financial records, data, and platforms.
2. Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison for property owners and internal teams.
- Clearly communicate transition plans, timelines, and expectations.
3. Tenant and Vendor Transition:
- Coordinate transfer of records, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure continuity of services during the transition.
4. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with local regulations.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of transition activities.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership to assess effectiveness.
6. Support:
- Provide support to Property Management teams.
- Address knowledge gaps and enhance team capabilities.
7. Problem Resolution:
- Proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with teams and stakeholders for effective solutions.
8. Quality Assurance:
- Address concerns promptly and conduct post-transition evaluations.
9. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry best practices.
- Collaborate to implement improvements based on feedback and lessons learned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, (in Business or Real Estate a plus), or a related field.
- Proven experience in Property Management, real estate, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
