Role Overview
Fisker is looking for aRegional Facilities Manager to lead our Midnorth Facilities teams. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the operations department, supporting construction projects, and owning the development, execution, and day-to-day operations of Fisker corporate buildings, general infrastructure renovations and upgrades. The Regional Facilities Manager's primary responsibility is to deliver high quality projects and operations on time, within budget with high stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Manage current and future facilities projects to ensure effective and safe operations, permit approvals, and timely completion of projects.
  • Manage overall facilities and maintenance processes to provide cost effective and compliant services.
  • Lean manufacturing involvement to lead and perform job safety analysis, workstation design reviews for EHS, and establish TPM plans.
  • Perform regular evaluation of the facilities and develop a system for cleaning, repair, and maintenance of facilities, including preventive maintenance programs for critical equipment.
  • Ensure the security / safety of the building from fire, flood, threats, and other hazards.
  • Ensure environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance, training, audits, and continuous improvement.
  • Drives and proactively promote behaviors which result in zero incident safety culture throughout site.
  • Educate employees on the proper use and care of equipment and other facilities and initiate interventions to solve problems, leads by example.
  • Creates training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked to completion.
  • Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems in the building.
  • Ownership and development of policies and procedures as related to facilities, maintenance and EHS.
  • Research and coordination of contacts/contracts with vendors for office kitchen supplies, company-wide lunches, events, etc.
  • Help oversee planning and coordination associated with events and meetings related to office.
  • Partner with IT to order computer peripherals.
  • Partner with Purchasing on purchase order management and administration.
  • Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations including mail distribution, processing shipments, conference rooms maintenance and scheduling, vendor management and related walks.
  • Managing internal communications for office updates.
  • Point of contact for onsite security, maintenance, facilities, and janitorial.
  • Manage waste disposal programs, both hazardous and non-hazardous.
  • Develop back-up or alternative systems for common risks such as power shortages, flooding, tornados, inclement weather, etc.
  • Participate in preparing the budget ensuring that business objectives are met and that the facilities, maintenance, and EHS team will have appropriate/adequate funds for its operation.
  • Responsible for outside contractor training program and compliance while working at Fisker sites.
  • Responsible for contractor selection and management of vendors in conjunction with purchasing to provide cost effective solutions.
  • Active engagement on go-forward planning. Effective relationship building with key site stakeholders.
  • Manage facilities coordinators and effectively provide work direction in order to ensure a safe, healthy, effective workplace.

Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an EHS, construction or facilities management related field from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DHEC, air permitting and fire code regulation.
  • Solid technical background in EHS, process safety management (PSM) and Conduct of Operations.
  • Previous proven leadership experience in EHS and PSM.
  • Excellent investigation skills and understanding of various investigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of various manufacturing processes: mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fabrication, welding, painting and composites, and support functions.
  • Understanding of capital expenditure management.

Additional Requirements.
Must be willing to travel both domestically, as well as internationally, as required.
Expected Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00
Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
