How You Will Make an Impact?
The Regional Environmental Health and Safety Manager will support Morgan Truck Body manufacturing and service facilities in a designated Region to ensure safe environmental working conditions for all team members. Position will report to the Director of Environmental, Health & Safety. The Regional EHS Manager will implement proactive safety systems to reduce accidents, injuries, and property loss. The position will be responsible for maintaining a positive safety culture throughout a designated region that will cultivate the value of safety to each individual and be practiced at every level.
The Nuts and Bolts
Required Credentials
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety and Health, Safety or Environmental Management, Safety or Environmental Science, and/or Engineering is required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on professional health, safety, and environmental experience in manufacturing environments is required with multi-site management experience preferred
- Certification/Licensure(s) - Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, Occupational Health and Safety technologist, and/or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager preferred
- Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels is required
- Proven ability to be proactive and can facilitate change through education and training and by being a team player is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral and be able to work with all levels is required
- Problem analysis and problem resolution with an understanding of root cause investigative process is required
- Strong time management and prioritization skills needed to support multiple locations is required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook 365 is required
- Travel will be required; up to 75%
