Telecommunications Technician

You will work as a consultant contractor (1099) for this role to work for a government agency, however your contract will be directly with errorHandle. We are in the process of submitting a proposal for a government contract and need to submit the selected candidate details as part of the requirements for different positions and this position is one of the fulfilments.

The Telecommunications Technician/Analyst is responsible for providing support

and troubleshooting for all telecommunications services and installations for

on a day-to-day and 24/7 as needed basis (level 1, level 2, or level 3, as required}.

The position is responsible for installation, maintenance and

supporting 's voice and data network physical infrastructure at all locations.

Preferred specialized knowledge includes:

Knowledge of fiber optic cabling including connector termination, fiber optic

troubleshooting using an OTDR, OLTS & Visual fault light testing.

Cat 5e/6 cabling-including termination and certification

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $36.00 - $95.00 per hour
