Description

Develops profitable business income for Premier Health by maintaining current customer accounts and soliciting favorable new business prospects. Responsible for working with internal staff to obtain proper protocol information from customers, set up of new account information, and resolution of customer issues and problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identifies the potential occupational medicine prospects within their assigned market/s. Assists employers and community organizations in the planning, development, and delivery of viable health care services for Premier Health.
  • Maintains a well-organized sales and call plan from the initial prospect inquiry through the assessment of customer’s needs to the procurement stage of profitable business. Develops business development plan and tracks monthly activity.
  • Works with management and clinical personnel to achieve a cohesive delivery of medical services of the highest value in the industry. Uses positive relationship development skills to market services to key employer groups and other potential clients.
  • Actively participates in the development, evaluation, and introduction of new services, equipment, and procedures, and shall assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for improvement of services.
  • Review’s customer surveys and develops specific plans to address any areas of concern.
  • Works with all affiliated marketing departments and OLOL affiliated entities to optimize business development efforts.
  • Provides suggestions and insight regarding marketing and business development activities for Premier Health Occupational Medicine.
  • Attends meetings as required.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Job Skills: Minimum skills are 3-5 years in sales, customer service, and/or health care services. Experience in Urgent Care and occupational medicine setting required.

Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products- Word, PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge in Excel.
