job purpose: The Region Key Account Manager is responsible for executing a selling strategy within assigned customer accounts for fairlife’s bottler and warehouse delivered brands. In addition, this position will manage key customer relationships including negotiating customer agreements that deliver against internal business goals and objectives. This position will call on the Liberty Coca-Cola bottler and will also manage our Shop Rite business for both DSD and warehouse brands.
responsibilities:
- Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by utilizing fact-based selling methods.
- Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
- Analyze customer information and business trends using syndicated data sources to identify and expand business opportunities.
- Create and present selling decks utilizing relevant data and insights for respective customer accounts.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Responsible for partnering and managing relationship with bottler sales teams, NAOU sales organization, and our broker partners on regional account sales.
- Ensure customers are complying with contracted requirements.
- Partner with commercial and regional bottler teams to customize fairlife’s national commercial plan for specific bottler and territory.
- Ensure timely and appropriate communication of confirmed programming to fairlife and Coke Sales Ops teams to maximize execution.
- Partner with regional Bottler Commercial Lead to develop bottler material for priority customers as needed.
- Evaluate current and past regional programming for effectiveness and ROI to determine future needs and plans.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned accounts (adding SKUs, new platforms), and take lead on sales approach and execution to new buyers
- Ensure time sensitive deadlines are met within assigned territory.
skills/qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years of CPG sales and/or commercial experience required, with a focus on food or beverage products preferred
- Strong ability to leverage data and insights to tell a compelling story and drive business plan objects.
- Strong business acumen ability
- Ability to leverage combination of relationship development and data-driven influencing to achieve business goals.
- Proactive attitude with entrepreneurial skill set, who thrives in a multi-tasking environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives in response to inevitable market challenges.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
