Our team is looking for a Key Account Manager to join them. You will report to the Strategic Project Leader and will have a hybrid work schedule in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
To be considered for the Key Account Manager role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- Typically, a bachelor's degree in a business discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Aerospace industry and customer service experience.
- Familiarity with power-by-hour contracts.
- General awareness/understanding of customers' aftermarket requirements.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally 60-80% of the time.
As a Key Account Manager, you will:
- Develop and execute Key Account plans (relationship maps, dashboards, objectives, performance measures), and report on progress against objectives.
- Extract best overall long-term value from those relationships/customers/markets.
- Support site sales and organic, large, and complex growth activities related to their customers and platforms.
- Identify and exploit opportunities to leverage scale (multi-site) to deliver organic growth opportunities and/or smoother transitions.
- Provide an impartial voice of the customer role and develop a deep understanding of their customers organization, processes, and behaviors.
- Maintain and prioritize year-round contact at all levels of the customers organization.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison between the customer and Ontic for all matters related to the customer/platform/market.
- Act as Ontic advocate, educating the customer about who Ontic is and the value Ontic brings to customers.
- Coach and coordinate site teams/management on responsiveness, relationships, communications, and timing (help to 'block and tackle' and prioritize appropriately).
- Participate in cross functional teams to ensure the business are aware of contractual requirements and customer expectations.
