CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK:
This is entry-level work which involves consistently communicating to effectively assist in the continued care of patients.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Graduate of four-year high school or equivalent (GED), required.
Experience:
One (1) year experience related to described duties, preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Additional essential functions may be identified and included as needed. The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain information flow in the referral process with referring physician offices
- Communicate with the patient on a timely and consistent basis for all scheduling requirements
- Keep detailed documentation to track outstanding referrals and patient follow-through daily
- Provide verbal and written reports as requested
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): One year experience related to described duties, preferred.
