As a Patient Referral Coordinator for Deep Blue Retina, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with potential ophthalmic and optometric practices. This is a part-time opportunity (1-3 days per week) with competitive compensation.
Regularly you will . . .
- Research and identify ophthalmic and optometric practices within 100 miles
- Develop and maintain ophthalmic and optometric practice relationships
- Schedule appointments/meetings with practices to discuss their needs and goals
- Educate practices on long-term care solutions for patients with a wide variety of chronic eye conditions as well as opportunities to participate in clinical research studies Understand ophthalmic and optometric practice needs and objectives and develop creative solutions to meet their goals
- Coordinate with clinical staff to create content for social media accounts
Success in this position will require . . .
- Reliable transportation (required to travel as far as 100-mile radius)
- Understanding of basic concepts of retinal medicine and treatment plans
- Strong ability to coordinate and schedule time efficiently
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, concisely about Deep Blue Retina
