Reference Support Specialist
Part Time * Flexible Hours
The Reference Support Specialist supports our team in the Recruitment process by obtaining employment verifications and personal and professional references. This opportunity allows flexbility to work from our well-appointed office in Rochester, NY or to work remote. Candidates MUST be willing and able to train on-site for initial 2 weeks.
The Reference Support Specialist has an important role in Reference Support during the candidate onboarding experience to ensure our partners are considering talent who uphold the values and mission of the organization.
The Reference Support Specialist will perform reference related tasks while demonstrating our guiding principles to care, grow, share, and show, to our partners, our candidates, and our internal team members.
What you'll do here:
- Provide an outstanding candidate experience at every touch during the referencing process.
- Contact candidates to obtain reference contact information, as needed.
- Review files to ensure accuracy of data collected and that specific requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with team and Client Service Manager regarding concerns or when objective cannot be met within established time metric.
- Use multiple methods to obtain reference information from contacts including phone, email, text, and fax.
- Learn and use the Applicant Tracking System(s) for optimal results and data integrity.
- Provide strong customer service within established metrics.
- Develop time management for optimal results.
What you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) & able to learn new software as needed
- Effective & polished interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to type while talking on the phone
- Attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to real time multitask
- Flexibility and adaptability to work on multiple accounts as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
Schedule:
