Job Title: Recruitment Manager, Admission
Reports To: Dean of Admission
Supervises: Possible supervision of student workers
Primary Function:
Serve as a primary territory manager for assigned recruitment territory to successfully grow enrollment by providing highly individualized service to prospective students and families.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor?s degree required.
Experience: 3-5 years of admission/recruitment/sales experience required. Higher education experience preferred.
Skills: Easily builds rapport with a variety of people. Goal and results driven. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Dynamic personality with desire to serve students. Ability to prioritize work and manage time well. Proven success in recruitment/marketing/sales environment. Ability to conduct public speaking engagements with a variety of group size and composition. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. High level of emotional intelligence and ability to read people and react accordingly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Increase enrollment by developing contacts and relationships with guidance counselors, transfer counselors, prospective students and their families, and community organizations providing exceptional service at all times to create a positive experience for every student/family.
- Coordinate and execute territory management activities such as college fairs, high school visits, community college visits, virtual events, individual meetings with high school staff, student and families and other organizations focused on college readiness. Travel approximately 30% of time.
- Communicate effectively the mission, culture, benefits and value of a Saint Vincent educational experience as well as the admission and financial aid processes at Saint Vincent.
- Use Slate, Colleague and Teams on a daily basis; logging interactions, keeping abreast of tasks, monitor incoming application materials and application completion, utilizing queries and reports to inform daily tasks, priorities and assignments.
- Manage territory admission funnel to successfully impact conversion and yield of applicants and accepted students.
- Review and make decision recommendations on completed applications.
- Assess daily performance reports to inform tasks and duties. Utilize and assess recruitment and enrollment data to develop strategies and tactics aimed at increasing student interest and enrollment in recruitment territory.
- Participate in on and off campus recruitment events as well as virtual recruitment events and programs.
