General Purpose:
Goodwill is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Recruitment Coordinator to help facilitate a seamless and inspiring recruitment and selection experience for our Retail Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record working in a fast-paced environment especially within the retail, operations, or recruiting industries. 6 Month Contract Role!
Essential Functions:
- Provides moderately complex administrative and clerical assistance to Talent Acquisitions Manager, retail leadership, and hiring managers related to recruitment.
- Utilize ATS (ADP Workforce Now) to manage and track candidate applications, interview feedback, and hiring status updates.
- Serve as the main point of contact for candidates for designated roles throughout the recruitment process, providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers.
- Schedule phone, videoconference and final round interviews; working directly with candidates, and hiring managers.
- Respond to candidate inquiries and provide updates on the status of their application.
- Assist in coordinating recruitment events, including remote and in person jobs fairs and campus recruitment initiatives, as applicable
- Generate reports and metrics related to recruitment activities, such as pipelines, time-to-fill and source of hire..
- Collaborate to enhance Goodwill employer brand by ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Identify areas for process improvement within the recruitment and hiring process and suggest enhancements.
- Maintain confidentiality of candidate information and ensure data protection practices are followed.
Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent
- Associates degree plus 2 years of related experience or 4 years of related experience.
- Must have retail and recruiting experience, specifically in retail operations, understanding of thrift retail a plus
- Must be willing to occasionally travel to locations and events in New York State and Northern New Jersey Strong knowledge of hiring process and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, follow and follow through are critical
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills a must
- Proficiency in ATS (Applications Tracking System) Preferably ADP Workforce Now and MS Office Suite (Outlook, PPT, Word & Excel).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity
- Positive attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
