Summary: This role is responsible for various aspects of the hiring cycle including job postings, maintaining applicant tracking, scheduling interviews, generating offers, background checks and initial onboarding. The Recruiting Coordinator will support LJA’s recruitment efforts and have an opportunity to grow within our recruiting team.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE
- Assist in recruiting process, resume distribution and organization, coordinate college career fairs
- Facilitate with the new hire onboarding process including, assisting with submitting offers, collecting new hire documents, and coordinating background checks
- Conduct phone screens with candidates and schedule interviews
- Maintain local I-9 documentation and review records to ensure compliance
- Ensure employee files are properly organized and compliant
- Manage and update job descriptions
- Liaise with payroll and benefits
- Maintain and update HR system
- Post jobs to applicant tracking system
- Process various HR reports
- Provide follow-up with candidates and hiring managers during the interview process and offer stage
- Complete monthly headcount reporting and analysis and conduct data audits.
- Participate in HR projects as required
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED ON DAY ONE
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences or Human Resources)
- 1 + years of experience in recruiting and onboarding new hires required
- Self-Starter/Initiative-taker with a great attitude, excellent customer service and ability to work well with others while collaborating with multiple contributors
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under deadlines, multi-task and manage priorities effectively to meet schedules and demand
- Must have working knowledge of MS Office
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Prior work and/or internship experience in recruiting, onboarding, and Human Resources
- Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and an applicant tracking system
