Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting/Communications Coordinator to join our team. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about talent acquisition and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment from home with occasional on-site work. Applicants should have strong interpersonal communication skills and be comfortable speaking on topics of Fitness Instruction and Personal Training with team members and clients.
Duties:
- Assist with the full cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates
- Conduct regular interviews and meeting with applicants as needed (occasionally in person in the Orlando area and/or via Zoom as needed)
- Coordinate with clients, instructors and office team to promote effective communication
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings
- Assist with the onboarding process, including employee orientation and paperwork
- Collaborate with Team Coordinator and Office Manager to understand their needs and requirements
- Post job openings on various job boards and social media platforms
- Conduct research to identify potential candidates for specific roles
- Assist with training development for new hires
- Must be available to work remote 4 hours/5 days per week during open office hours (between 9am - 8pm) to communicate with clients and team members. Schedule is flexible with mostly work from home requirements.
- Some in-person requirements may be needed 1-2/x weekly based on interview/event needs. Assistance may be requested for occasional Saturdays or Sundays with advance notice.
Skills:
- Experience using Indeed and other web resources for job posts (social media, etc)
- Strong sales skills to effectively communicate with candidates and sell the company culture
- Knowledge of employee orientation processes and best practices
- Understanding of recruiting strategies and techniques
- Excellent research skills to identify potential candidates
- Ability to develop training materials for new hires
- Knowledge of word, excel and similar programs
- Comfortable with cold calling potential candidates
- Knowledge and understanding of fitness, personal training and similar group fitness services
