Note: This is anticipated to start in May 2024.This is a temporary full-time position. This position has authorized funding for four (4) full months from hire. This is also a non-represented and non-benefited position.
What will you do in this position?
- Support the Recreation and Community Events Coordinator with internal processing and varying off-site events.
- Offer administrative assistance for both recreation programs and front office operations.
- Assist the administrative team in managing facilities rentals, including scheduling, processing, payments, handling client relations, and more.
- Set up and tear down of event equipment, including tents, tables, signage, ect.; drives to and from programs and events
- Move heavy equipment and supplies as necessary
- Serve as a point of contact for the public, answering questions, providing direction, ect.
- Attend and support the department’s signature summer events and programs like 4th of July Parade, Summer Nights in Bothell, & Summer Family Concerts.
A successful candidate in this position will:
- Work together with the Bothell Community and Departments to cultivate strong and successful partnerships.
- Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks, projects, and demands.
- Openly receive new ideas and other perspectives.
- Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
- Have an innovative approach or solutions to situations, problems, and opportunities.
