Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey

 

Atlantic Health System, one of the largest non-profit healthcare networks in New Jersey, is seeking a Faculty Physician to join the growing Internal Medicine team at Morristown Medical Center. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and skilled Internal Medicine physician to join a busy group with a well-established patient panel and robust support staff. With a 9am-5pm Monday-Friday rotating schedule, an average of 2 weeknights and weekend call coverage every 14 weeks for both outpatient and inpatient care, this position allows for an ideal work/life balance.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in teaching and working in an academic environment. The responsibilities of the position include supervising, training, and educating residents, fellows, students, and other trainees in the care of patients under the department's supervision. Additionally, the candidate will provide clinical services in an outpatient, non-teaching practice setting, and should possess some inpatient experience and at least two years of clinical experience. The candidate will be expected to provide direct supervision, oversight, training, and education to the trainees

Qualifications

• BE/BC by the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey
• Candidates with 5-7 years of training is preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is required
• Demonstrated success working individually and as part of a team
