Recreation Assistant

This entry-level position earns a competitive wage of $17-$18/hour between the hours

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RECREATION ASSISTANT

As a Recreation Assistant, you help in the planning and executing of recreational, cultural, and religious activities for the residents in our assisted living community. Your natural creativity comes in handy as you work with the activities director to help implement individual and group activities that are therapeutic in nature. You also take residents to doctor appointments and other outings on the bus. With enthusiasm, you interact with seniors and keep them engaged in our community. You love knowing that you're making a huge difference in their lives!

QUALIFICATIONS

• A heart for serving seniors
• experience with memory care is a plus
• comfortable leading group activities
